Firepower Records is set to release the 7th installment of our Flatline Compilation on November 17th, 2017, and it features a squadron of next generation battle-ready bass bombardiers. Since its inception, the Flatline Compilation has featured the brightest and most diverse new talents emerging in the bass music world. Don’t be fooled—the names you see on the track list may be new, but one spin of the track and it’s clear these artists are wise beyond their years.
First up is Felmax and Purge with “Gangsta” and it’s a trippy Trapstyle heater. Deep sub-bass structures roll underneath a sinister series of nightmarish synth stabs. The expert lyricism haunts the tune, and as the massive drop hits, you’re already trapped in a gangsta’s bad dream.
Noya comes out swinging with “Sanctum”. A filthy dub-riddim hybrid beat is punctuated with a scorching synth construction designed to level entire city blocks. There are sections of this tune powerful enough to brings dance floors to their knees instantaneously, which makes this track a must-have set-list weapon.
Blaqout’s “Filthy Friend Switch” reveals a producer in complete control over his production abilities. No surprise there, he’s been crushing the bass music game for a while now. This tune is immensely creative, technically complex, and proves Blaqout is ready for the main stage.
Orii is not playing around when it comes to “Vicious”. With years of professional production mastery under his belt, ORII recently switched gears and is investing his encyclopedic knowledge and phenom-level talent into bass music—this tune is the result. Microscopic in his approach to track engineering, the tune goes through multiple iterations of bass music vibes and ultimately lands on a metal-inspired double up designed to ignite crowds into a frenzied madness.
The tracklisting for Flatline Volume 7:
