Los Angeles (August 29th, 2017) – Firepower Records will release Andromulus’ scorching new EP Loud In the Streets on September 15th, and that will be the day a new dance music behemoth accelerates his journey towards the upper echelons of the world’s elite producers. With a taste for mixing sweeping cinematic soundscapes with straight pulverizing synth and wobble sections, Loud in the Streets is an excellent example of the kind of potential Andromulus has within in him. This EP is all energy.
First on the EP is “Seismic”, and it’s earth-shattering. A big generous beat pushes the track forward, and a filthy synth construction rumbles over the top. But the most damaging part of the tune comes from the sped up, hands-in-the-air musical feeding frenzy halfway through. This is a festival ready track that will buckle knees and topple the speaker towers.
“On The Road To Hell” takes us back to the days of dance music where Electro House reigned supreme. Andromulus engineers an all-out shuffling anthem here, and it’s hard not to lose your shit to the tune’s massively intoxicating bounce. This track adds an excellent level of diversity to the EP overall, and Andromulus proves, again, that even the best bass sets can benefit from a BPM Shake up.
Andromulus begins “Phantom” with a world beat style, but it does not stay that way long. Phantom is a blueprint for how to create bass music into the future. With significant changeups in genre, style, and tone, the track becomes a call to producers everywhere to innovate. “Phantom” is an old school party tune in a new form, and when played out at a festival’s main stage, the results will include copious amounts of face melting, hip swiveling, and booty shaking.
Squaring up the EP is the title track “Loud in the Streets”. With an already magnificently complex and diverse EP, this track bounces energetically from future trap, to Dubstep, to a supremely head-nodic hip hop section. This tune is a certified crowd pleaser, and it’s a festival set weapon. With trends in live sets edging towards genre mixing, “Loud in the Streets” is a great track to diversify without bringing audiences out of the flow.

“I just got back from Shambhala and had the pleasure of witnessing Terravita absolutely slay,” Firepower boss man Datsik says. “I’m excited to present their new EP out on Firepower Records and can’t wait to hit the road with them again for Safe In Sound next month.”
The Alternate Reality EP is Terravita’s next musical masterpiece in a string of chart topping accomplishments, and it features some forays into alternate realities of bass music production, solidifying this EP as a `dynamic and diverse piece of work.
Leading the EP is a massive collaboration between Terravita and Th3 Cats called “Girl & Robot”. A traditional dub structure sets the foundation including a solid dub style vocal hook. The signature Terravita melodies build into a wall-of-sound that puts the pressure on and keeps it there. The next track “Fat Wad” immediately shifts direction into an alternate Bass Music reality. Juxtaposing the beautiful and soaring vocals with an aggressive and grimey Trap inspired beat breakdown, the track elicits both an urge to sing to the heavens and stomp the earth in a frenzied rage. “Fat Wad” is perfect track for the peak hour and will be included in setlists all over the globe.
Continuing to explore the alternate realities of Bass Music, Terravita venture into a world where bass heavy Electro House and filthy Dubstep co-exist in same song. This formula has wreaked immeasurable amounts of havoc on dancefloors because of the demand on audiences to shift from shuffling at 128 BPMs, to headbanging to a massive Dubstep drop. “Do My Thing” is an absolute wrecker, and the brain tickling synth arrangements will only incite audiences to rage harder.
It seems like it wouldn’t be a proper release without the masterful lyricism of Terravita’s own Jon Spero. “Don’t Turn On The Lights” is a heavy metal infused modern bass music destroyer. Screeching guitar solos match the pumping synth patterns, and the track sounds like it could be an encore at a Guns n’ Roses concert. The energy of Dubstep and Metal are very similar, and Terravita, perhaps more than any other Bass Music producers, capture that expertly in every one of their releases.
Finally, RIOT comes through with a face melting remix of “Fuel To The Fire”, the title track From Terravita’s previous chart topping EP. There is no doubt that RIOT held nothing back. From the get-go, the track pumps and pulses through the build-up and crushes the listener with an absolutely filthy drop. The track toggles back and forth from sections of expert lyrical wordsmithing to massive builds. When the beat does drop, it’s chaos.

]]>The first track, “EDM”, has Bear Grillz collaborating with audio annihilator Getter. Bear Grillz is somewhat of an expert when it comes to EDM, even though he’s convinced many of his less intelligent animal compatriots EDM is a kind of candy. He is the authority on all things rave in the animal kingdom, and so it makes sense that he leads the EP with a musical odyssey through the contentious world of EDM politics.
Speaking of experts in the subject, Bear Grillz combines forces with the incredibly talented yet totally unpredictable DJ BL3ND to remind fans what it takes to “Get Down”. Returning to the Electro House roots that drove the scene into the second decade of the 21st century, the track refocuses the power of the Dubstep Wub into an Electro Anthem. For Bear Grillz, though, dancing dirty always leads to outward displays of his hypersexuality. Following “Get Down” is the irresistibly Twerkable “Bend It Over Gurl”, a scorching collaboration with recent Ninja Nation tour mate ETC! ETC! No one will ever truly know the subject of those late night conversations between Bear Grillz and ETC! ETC!, but if “Bend It Over Gurl” is the immediate audio aftermath, then it doesn’t take an incredible leap of logic to generate some credible theories. A phenomenal talent in his own right, ETC! ETC! provides his personal style and production prowess to another of Bear Grillz’ dance floor bangers.
With support from the young bass genius Trollphace, “Marijuana” rounds out the set. The track takes the classic Raggae vibe and supercharges it. It’s a style Bear Grillz has perfected, and the result is a hands-in-the-air festival anthem.
The track listing for Bear Grillz & Friends Volume 2 is:
1. Bear Grillz & Getter – “EDM”
2. Bear Grillz & DJ BL3ND – “Get Down”
3. Bear Grillz & ETC! ETC! – “Bend It Over Gurl”

LOS ANGELES (October 22nd, 2014) Firepower Records is thrilled to welcome newcomers Lazer Lazer Lazer and Helix High to the Firepower Family, and on November 4th, their EP The Masterplan, will drop like a hammer.
With an unflinching tenacity, Firepower Records label boss, Datsik, has launched a campaign to prove that good bass music comes in multiple forms, including mind numbing, face-melting Electro House. Lazer Lazer Lazer and Helix High not only prove that philosophy, but they destroy the pre-packaged expectations of what’s possible in bass production with this heavier-than-a ton-of-bricks program of Hard Electro.
Lazer Lazer Lazer and Helix High may be newcomers, but they are not new to the game. The two acts came together with a plan to demolish Festival Sound systems. This is clear from the title track, “The Masterplan”, which immediately initiates the listener by throwing them into the deep end without a life jacket. The track is expertly layered and detailed, which shows an intelligence that goes beyond a simple amateur grasp of production techniques. “The Masterplan” is creative, lively, and bone-crushing. These characteristics show up in “Lazer Pistols & Superheroes” and “Mr. Crackspider”. Both pay lip service to our infatuation with viral media, but they make the listener rage in the process. Every second of these tracks is packed to the brim with sound. They put the pressure on quick and never let off.
One of the unique features of the EP is that both Lazer Lazer Lazer and Helix High each offer an original single that displays their unique production personalities. LLL’s “Raze and Eraze” provides a glimpse into the more jagged and aggressive Heavy Metal-esque attitude of the crew. Helix High’s single, “Flying Machines”, on the other hand displays the Progressive soul of the producer. The track benefits from euphoric synths—which form the backbone of the melody—but it drops off a cliff just before a mind-splitting buzzsaw and bouncy bass-line takes the track home.
The Tracklisitng for The Masterplan is:
1. Lazer Lazer Lazer & Helix High – “The Masterplan”
2. Lazer Lazer Lazer & Helix High – “Lazer Pistols & Super Heroes”
3. Lazer Lazer Lazer & Helix High – “Mr. Crackspider”
4. Lazer Lazer Lazer – “Raze & Eraze”
