Los Angeles (October 2, 2018) – Firepower Records is set to release Rettchit’s Quake EP, and we couldn’t be more proud to share his innovative approach to bass music with the world with this brand new EP. At only 20 years old, Rettchit has worked to develop his unique sound and come to perfect it in the form of bone-shattering bass. His latest contribution, Quake EP is nothing short of a bass lovers dream come true.
Opening the EP with a massive collaboration with MegaHurtz and Dedbolt, “Poltergeist”, starts off with an intriguing introduction that shows off a hint of hip-hop influence and flexes throughout while setting the tone for what’s to come just over the horizon. Don’t get too comfortable though, things quickly move from a bubbly vibe straight in headbanger territory that shocks you to your core in the best way possible.
“I.D.” follows suit while kicking things up a notch with a cautioning introduction paired with a high energy drumline. With the proper foundation laid out nicely, all attention is focused on the highly anticipated drop that surprises in the form of an electro influenced bass heavy drop. This tune will undoubtedly get any crowd moving from start to finish wherever it’s played out.
Polishing off the EP is collaboration with Impaqt for the aptly titled tune, “Banq”. Here, Rettchit offers an ambient introduction that doesn’t sacrifice the heavy vibes he’s been praised for. In fact, “Banq” effortlessly marries the melodic introduction with raw chops that balance out seamlessly for this massive tune. Backed by a playful beat, “Banq” certainly brings forth an epic dance floor shaker without losing focus on jaw locking heavy bass.
The track listing for ‘Quake’ is:
